The menu plan assigned to you has been designed to fit into your personal food unit targets. It is a guide provided by us. This means you will be unable to modify the menu plan further than the meal swap options.
Recipes/ meals which are not available as a meal swap option cannot be added to the menu plan. This is to ensure your menu plan reflects meals that fit in with your personal food unit target.
If there is a recipe that you would like to have, we recommend adding the recipe into your Tracker by typing the name of the recipe into the 'add a food or exercise' bar. Your Food & Exercise Diary is the place to accurately record your food and exercise, whether you are following the menu plan or not. Here you can calculate and track the food units in the foods/ recipes you have entered. The food units will be displayed on the right hand side to show whether you are meeting your food unit targets.
If you are going to use other recipes, we suggest choosing “Do your own…” from the meal swap options. This will ensure the ingredients from the meal you are replacing aren’t included in the shopping list. You will need to account for the ingredients in your recipe separately.
