There are two types of meals you will see in your menu plan. A ‘recipe’ and a ‘meal.’
Recipes serve more than one and will be hyperlinked in your menu plan. These recipes are from TWD books can be viewed and searched in the Food Search. Simply type the name of the recipe, or part of the name plus the word 'recipe'.
For example 'Smoothie Recipe'.
You can also search for these in your Food & Exercise Diary. They will have the word 'Recipe' next to them. To view the recipe, select the recipe you are after > Click the name of the recipe once added > click 'Go to Recipe'
Meals serve only one person, and the ingredients and preparation instructions will be available in the menu plan (i.e. you don't have to follow a link). These do not appear in the Food Search like recipes do.
If you would like to find the ingredients and preparation instructions for a meal you have seen in your menu plan, you will need to search & add the meal into your Food & Exercise Diary. To do this, type the name of the meal as seen in your menu plan OR type part of the name plus "menu plan meal".
Select the correct meal to add to your diary. Once added, click 'View Nutrition Information' > 'Show Original Meal Details and Preparation Instructions'.
