Are you finding you’re still hungry or would like an extra snack? Free foods are foods are low in kJ so you can enjoy whenever you feel.
The most popular free foods are vegetables: they make great anytime snacks and can boost your intake of vitamins and minerals.
TWD provides a minimum target of 2.5 serves of vegetables but with "free" vegetables you can bulk up meals, and snack as often as you like on these nutritious, low kilojoule/calorie foods.

If you are struggling to eat all the food:
If you are finding that the food provided on the menu plan is too much there are a few things you can try.
We do suggest that you eat everything that is provided for both nutritional adequacy and optimum weight loss.
You can however try to space out your food consumption throughout the day. The way we recommend to do so is by making your meals as normal, however instead of eating the full serving break this up smaller, and eat a smaller serving, and then saving the other serving for a later part of the day. This way you still eat what is provided, however eat less at a time and more throughout the day.
Ensure that you are on unit level 1 as levels 2 and 3 provide more food: settings > profile > change unit level.
