You can be as flexible with the Menu Plan as you wish on the Total Wellbeing Diet. You can use the meal swap options to swap out a meal you do not like, or do not want to eat. Click here for instructions on how to meal swap.
Alternatively, you can choose to use a recipe from extensive recipe collection or use your own recipes.
Unfortunately it is not possible to add a Total Wellbeing Diet recipe or your own recipe into your menu plan. If you choose a recipe that is not available as a meal swap option, we recommend adding it to your tracker to help monitor your nutritional intake and ensure you're meeting your Food Group Targets.
If you have a recipe outside of the list of swap options you can add this to the tracker:
- Go to the tracker > food and exercise diary
- Search this recipe and add it into the tracker where it will calculate the food units for you
If you are using your own recipe, you can 'Create a Combo' in the Tracker to save the recipe/ ingredients for future use. Click here for instructions on how to create a combo.
We also suggest choosing 'Do your own meal' from the meal swap option for the meal you will be replacing with the recipe. This way these ingredients will be removed from your Shopping List. You will then need to account for the ingredients of the recipe you have added in to your Tracker. For more information on 'Do your own... ' meals, click here.
